Rotary has traditionally being a strong supporter of Youth and Vocational projects. Heretaunga Rotary actively supports a number of projects that benefit youth in our community.
An outdoor personal development experience for teenagers that is offered to local schools in most years. Participants take part in a series of outdoor challengers designed to improve confidence and seld-awareness. The programme is organised by the Rotary Club of Taihape.

This programme is for Year 12 students who have a strong interest in Science and/or Technology and have demonstrated a high level of academic performance. Each year the club selects applicants from local high schools and puts them forward to the
