What Does Membership Involve?
Members contribute, through their annual subscription to the financial performance of the club. We meet fornightly for our regular meetings. We are also assigned to one of the clubs service committees and this will often entail another meeting during the month.
Club meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Members gather from 6 pm in readiness for the meeting to start at 6.30 pm. The meeting begins with dinner which is prefessionally catered. The meal is normally followed by a guest speaker. There are also some club formalities and members are rostered on for some duties that ensure the smooth running of the club. We also have special meetings celebrating particular events like Christmas and the Club's birthday.
The work of the club is achieved through committees that are aligned with Rotary's Avenues of Service. Each member is assigned to one committee. The committees are:
The club joins together to complete projects in the community such as erecting the hanging baskets at the Silverstream Shops.
Other activies including visiting other clubs and social outings.
The club has a range of membership options to make it easier for you to become invovled. Our President would be happy to explain these to you. Many members become active in helping with one of our projects before they become a member. This is a great way to meet club members and to contribute to our work.

The club encourages partners to become active within the club. Partners are welcome at club meetings and to participate in club projects. An effort is made to design some meetings of particular interest to partners. Family members are also welcome to be active within the club and to help with club projects.
