Heretaunga Rotary

The Rotary Club of Heretaunga is part of Rotary District 9940 and has served the Upper Hutt Community, near Wellington, NZ for over 40 years. The club meets twice a month and is involved in a number of local projects and activities.

Active in our Community

The club is active in the local community supporting a range of activites with funding and utilising the expertise of clubs members.

Active Internationally

Traditionally Rotary has been active in a range of international projects.  

Active with our Youth

We support a variety of projects benefitting youth in our local community and beyond.

Active with BookFest

The annual bookfest is our main fundraising activity.  The funds raised from bookfest are fed back into the community through our projects.  Bookfest also provides a valuable service to the community.

Latest Events

Over the last year the club has been actively supporting the community in a number of projects.  We were local category winners  in the Wellington Airport Community Awards for our work with youth in 2016.

Polio Plus

The irradication of the dreadful disease Polio from the world has been a goal of Rotary International for many years.  The goal has very nearly been achieved and our club has actively supported this work.
